Job Description
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving industrial sales of lubricating oils, grease, and related products across assigned territories. This role requires a mix of technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships. The candidate should have prior experience in industrial sales and the capability to convert opportunities into profitable business.
Key Responsibilities

Visit industrial buyers regularly to generate leads, understand requirements, and promote company products.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations highlighting product features, applications, and benefits.

Submit quotations, manage tender documentation, participate in negotiations, and finalize contracts.

Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market needs, customer segments, and competitor activities.

Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and follow-ups.

Develop strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and distributors to ensure continuous business growth.

Manage the complete sales cycle, including pitching, negotiation, contracting, invoicing, payment follow-up, and after-sales support.

Provide solutions to customer challenges by understanding equipment performance, lubrication needs, and operational issues.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery, proper documentation, and excellent customer service.

Review sales performance periodically and prepare reports for management with insights and improvement suggestions.

Participate in exhibitions, customer meets, and industry events to enhance product visibility and brand awareness.

Contribute ideas for market expansion, new product opportunities, and strengthening channel networks.

Demonstrate leadership by taking initiative, solving problems proactively, and supporting company goals.
Experience Required

Experience dealing with channel partners, distributors, and B2B clients.

Prior exposure to industries such as bearings, tooling, steel, industrial supplies, or lubricants.

Strong understanding of industrial buying processes and technical product requirements.
